I’m running for office because I’ve seen up close how deeply broken some of our systems have become and how much that brokenness costs real people.
In November 2025, I lost my wife of 34 years, my partner and best friend. Her passing was devastating, made even more painful by the systems that were supposed to help us. As I stood by her side, I witnessed firsthand the barriers, inefficiencies, and failures in our healthcare system—problems that could be fixed but often are not. No family should have to endure that kind of hardship while trying to care for someone they love.
That experience changed me and strengthened a belief I’ve held for years: people deserve better from those in power.
For a long time, I’ve watched everyday Americans struggle while powerful interests come first. Communities go unheard, families are pushed aside, and basic rights are treated as negotiable. While caring for my wife, I knew I wanted to step up and serve, but my responsibility was with her. After her passing, I took time to grieve, reflect, and find my footing again. Now, I’m ready to act.
I’m running for this office because our district deserves real representation. We need someone who listens, cares, and puts people ahead of politics and profit. Too many feel left behind or ignored. I want to change that.
I’m not a career politician. I believe in fairness, dignity, and accountability. I believe government should protect our rights, support our well-being, and reflect the values of the people it serves—not just the powerful few.
I won’t pretend to be perfect. But I will promise this: I will show up, I will listen, and I will fight for you. Your health, your rights, your voice, and your future matter.
I’m stepping forward now because I believe we can do better and because if no one else will stand up for our communities, I will.

Oklahoma House District 10. A US Army Veteran with close family members in the
Navy and Air Force, Isaac says that many politicians are quick with platitudes in praise
of service members while ignoring the practical needs of Veterans and military families.

Navy and Air Force, Isaac says that many politicians are quick with platitudes in praise
of service members while ignoring the practical needs of Veterans and military families.
What we need, he knows, are policies that fund quality Veteran hospitals, quality
eldercare, and help advocacy groups. We need policies that assist homeless Veterans,
that address addiction and depression and provide both immediate and long-term care
following trauma. We need policies addressing training and employment for those
transitioning from military service. And, Mattox concludes, we need bold and immediate
action, not gradual and incremental change.
Isaac Mattox believes President Trump is blatantly misusing his office and
overreaching his Constitutional authority. Appointing an unqualified Secretary of
Defense, renaming the Department to sound “tough”, firing competent, decorated
honorable officers or refusing them promotion on political grounds, and reversing
policies recognizing the talents of all service members regardless of gender or ethnicity
are destructive policies undermining morale and endangering national security.
As an elected Representative, Isaac Mattox will reach out to veterans and
families alike, individually and in partnership with state and federal Departments of
Veterans Affairs and Veterans’ organizations, listening and learning from them to shape
policies which best address their concerns. Outreach, he knows, essential to meeting
the needs of Veterans and all his constituents. Isaac Mattox is well qualified to represent
House District 10 and to serve the citizens of Oklahoma. The Democratic Veterans
Federation strongly recommends him.

There are 101 State House districts and 48 State Senate districts. Districts are redrawn every 10 years according to total populations within each and lines move based upon the population of a given area. Districts which larger are the results of low population to area ratio.
Each of the 101 house ditricts has only one Represnative. Each of the 48 Senate districts eah has only one Senator. The size and shape of each is governed by population and the Voting Rights act. This is something to watch as SCOTUS has been changing definitions
